Halloween Recap :D

[ Since I have a paper to work on, I can't go into great detail with this submission, but you'll get the point ;) ]

My Halloween weekend has been fabulous <3 Thursday I went to the Peabody Halloween party, hosted by my sweetpea & my loves. They put on for their freshies.

Lovelyy.

Friday night, I went to a lezzie party with my loves: Jewellee, Tiye, Jeaninne, and Shelly. The costumes were REALL fly. Everyone went all outtt.
There we met the lovely Hope (freckles & red lipstick...yumm) & the beautiful Indee.
So many people came out, it was packed from wall to wall.
Sadly, we could not dance shoulder to shoulder so we dippedd. Intended to hit up the Hyatt party, but instead got pizza from Lorenzo's ;)
Nobody was able to finish their slice...lmao.
We couldn't figure out why my camera wouldn't take any pics...All it would say is "WRITE PROTECT"
I know I didn't put a setting on, so there were no documentation of the night until 5 minutes before we all went our separate ways, Jeaninne suggested looking at the memory card.
The card had a little grey tab, one side says lock and of course the tab was pushed to lock.
>=[
Lmao, This was the first & last pic of the night.

Saturday Night = Thee Epitome of a GREATTTT Night.
*I really gotta get to my paper...so yall can get the pics for now & I'll explain later lol.

Be On The Lookoutttt

for an AWESOME duettt

Looking At How One Treats People...

...is how I judge individuals.
I like vibes and auras, but those are the easiest to grasp a concept of.. if an individual exemplifies powerful actions.
Powerful actions that are inspirational...or
Powerful actions that are sickening...

These will heavily impact my thoughts on you and will help me to figure out whether I think you existence is in vain or not :)

Now that might sound a bit harsh, so let me explain...
It you are evil hearted and you are nothing but negative energy...to be frank you are a waste of life.
You've done NOTHING to help anyone in this world.
You've actually aided in the corruption of love, the deplete of sympathy, and the demolition of compassion.
You need to go jump off of a cliff (I'm just venting, I'm actually extremely passionate about people embracing life, never ending life...but that's another blog ;] )

Today, no different that any regular day, I met some beautiful spirits and also witness ugliness at its finest.
If you know me, I don't think anybody is ugly and I find beauty in what most people wouldn't...
When I say ugly, I mean, their presence, demeanor, attitude ...is horrendous.

The beautiful soul I met today could persuade me to go to the moon and back, her energy sent me on all types of high, to the point where I felt the need to incorporate her into my future plans. She's promising.
She was sweet to everyone she encountered, she went out of her way to make sure people are doing well, really extends herself. I guess the qualities I appreciated in her are all the qualities I feel everyone should have.
She reminds me of myself, or of how I would like to perceive myself as.

The waste of life that I encountered, sadly I see her every once and a while, every time she steps into my radius she pollutes my energy with her wickedness & I swear...I promise you, she is as useful as using a plastic spoon after a snowstorm. The way she treats people is unbelievable, she has some crazy sense of superiority, I'm not quite sure what she thinks makes her privileged. If her existence wasn't so ugly, I think she might actually have the capacity to be a pretty girl. Honestly, if you treat people like scum, because you simply feel like you can, you need help. I'll chant for you, but it won't help too much, because I can't seem to put too much sincerity into such trash, when that energy can go to individuals worthy of my golden chants.

There is no reason why we as a society cannot embrace one another. Why can't you treat everyone like the lovely souls they are? Appreciate people for what they offer to the world and treat them accordingly. Everyone deserves to be treated like royalty, because everyone has the potential to be majestic.

One of my favoriteeee quotes:
"You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him."
-James D. Miles
As true and powerful as this quote already is, I'd like to even shorten that to simply, you can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats others PERIOD. *I could honestly blog on and on because I truly hate ugly people, but I have homework to finish up.
Thanks for letting me vent Blogger :) You're the bestttt ;)

Catchhh Upppp

I've had a couple of events to fill you guys in on, so I'm playing a game of catch up :)
A bit out of order, but I'll start off with dinner @ Max Brenner's!

For the Sweetpea's program, "Oh You Fancy Huh?!" She took her residents out to experience Philadelphia's Restaurant Week! Ow Oww! ;)

Everybody looked lovelyyy :D

We all hopped on Septa, and ventured to our chocolate dinner :) What was on our minds? Nothing but chocolate pizza! Once we arrived at the restaurant, we were immediately seated & entertained by the graphics on the wall and amazed by the treats from the floor to the ceiling.

While waiting for our food to arrive, Tez & her resident decided to have a dance session.
lol...niceee

Finally the drinks and the appetizers arrived :D
YAYAYAYAY!

After that it was time for our main dish.
yum yum

Almost full to capacityyyy...
We anticipate thee chocolate orgasm promised by the hype of the restaurant.
Anxious tension grew as we waited for the fondue, everytime a waiter walked by with fondue we stared them down..until finallyyy...

 In case you couldn't tell...
Thats dark chocolate, caramel & milk chocolate,
strawberries, bananas, brownies, cookies, marsh mellows and the chocolate pizzaa =D

It was a fantastic dinner & it was ended beautifully with thee lovely chocolate desserts.

Lives Worth Living, Lives Worth Saving

For some reason, no matter how far I think society progresses...they always prove me terribly wrong and I'm forced to believe the world is fullll of prejudice, ignorance, hate and crime and that contrary to popular belief, it is NOT getting better.

After reading and watching the news reports of Tyler Clementi, I've become so disgusted in people and it just blows my mind how people can have such hate in their hearts.
(If you haven't read the articles, a brief summary is that Tyler's roommate, Dharun Ravi & Molly Wei, live streamed video of Tyler having intercourse with another male, and the Ravi posted links on his Twitter account so that all could watch. He also tried recording Tyler again a few days later. Tyler jumped off of the George Washington Bridge, leaving the chilling note on his Facebook status.)

There are a couple aspects of this story that upsets me.
-First off, Why...How on Earth can people find invading someone's privacy entertaining? Nobody who saw the live-streaming of Tyler's intimate moments thought maybe that was unacceptable?! No one could speak up on Tyler's behalf? The viewers thought it was funny? Well now Tyler is dead. This talented young man's life was cut short, because some homophobic ass thought it was be epic to stream his roommate's sexual encounters.
It makes me sick.

-Secondly, I'm saddened to know that this young man felt dying was better than living a life where people knew you were gay. (or simply having relations with a man)

Honestly, whether its being in a same-sex relationship, or wanting to be part of an interracial relationship, or simply loving whomever it is you love...many people are afraid to live happily, embracing what they desire and are intrigued by, all because their family, friends, church members, strangers..frown upon this, and that isn't tradition, and this is unnatural and blah FUCKING blah.

*sigh. I'm tried of us as an society, not moving forward.
All I can do is shake my head, I can't even try to begin to understand how people have the capacity to hate someone, for something such as love? Love is never wrong & If they had love in their lives they wouldn't be bullying, discriminating or killing.

Within the last 3 weeks, there have also been the suicide of Raymond Chase (Johnson & Wiles University) and 3 other cases of LGBT Youth committing suicide.

Youth Bullying, harassment, privacy invasion, and acts of violence need to CEASE, universities need to start holding these perpetrators accountable.

*Oh & don't even get me started on Reverend Eddie Long.
Whether or not Long actually committed the acts of which he was recently accused, this much is true: He is assuredly guilty of engendering fear and hatred of LGBT people among thousands. He has convinced countless numbers of gays that they are sinners whose salvation rests on becoming "reconditioned" into heterosexuality. Such toxic teachings reinforce the stigma that compromises HIV-prevention efforts as well as our mental and physical health.

I just needed to blog this out, so I could get it off my mind.
LGBT Youth, are not deviants or inferior, they are simply youth.
Last time I checked, Youth are the future & They deserve to live and be an asset to our future.
LGBT youth are lives worth saving.
LGBT youth, your lives are worth living.

*Fuck hugging a vegetarian, have you hugged a LGBT youth today?

Give Me A Breakkk! .. I Wanna Blog!

There is so much I want to blog,
I have ideas, stories, opinions, poems, videos...all waiting to be shared with the world :)
But my work & school load is not PERMITTING any blogger love.

Soon I'll be back on top of everything & I'll be blogging again.
By tomorrow hopefully :)

But I can give some quick updates:
- I no longer work at the "Cat scratch club" (lmao)
- Acquired a newww job at the School District of Philadelphia (Thanks Tiye!)
- I've been drafting out ideas for more clothing creations (my 2 pairs of jeans were a hit!)
- I've been releasing stress from homework by doing funky nail designs!
- My alter is complete (Still hope to have the lovely Nirja design my Butsudan), I'm chanting a bit faster, and starting to memorize some of my gongyo!
- Had a blast at the Autism Walk :)
Just a ton of good news, feels lovely.

But lets all cross my fingers that I can resume my blogging responsibilities ;)
As Always..

DC Trip Continued ...

Okay where did I leave off?
Right...Chillin with Marcus & Liz.
So we all decided to go out for some sun :) After talking for a bit, Marcus had a couple of visitors/friends come over, so Sweetpea & I went to a nearby kiddie park :)
Oh the pleasures of being a kid =D If only we could go back!

After our playground adventure we returned to my brother,
talked for a couple more hours, entertained by the stories of his guests then followed my bro to the cafeteria.
The shuttle back to the hotel was soon to come, so we said our goodbyes...
...I always get super sad when I have to leave Marcus, but luckily I had the Sweetpea there to distract me from my sorrows.

We got back to Silver Spring and walked around Downtown, which I think is sexier at night!

Then we decided to go to RED LOBSTER!
WOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO!

Crab legs, shrimp, & Bahama Mamas!
YAY!

&After that amazing meal we SLEPTTT good as shit.
Woke up the next morning & it was GOODBYE DC,
two floor Megabus with WiFi & outlets was fly.
But not as fly as my baby helping me with my homework on the ride back :)
Ahh, What I lovely weekend with two of my favorite people.
